I was chatting to a musician buddy of mine the other day and he mentioned a jazz trio he saw this year called the Esbjörn Svensson Trio, they also go by the name of E.S.T. Google them when I got home and I was blow away. These blokes are rekindling my past love of Jazz. The Yellow Jackets’ new stuff sounds too “Smooth Jazz” like for me. EST rocks….
A friend got this camera to take to India and shoot video. We ran into a show stopper on the Mac using iMovie 08. Video shot with this camera will not work (you can’t import it / grayed out) when using iMovie 08. The problem relates to the sound. You’ll have to convert each movie you shoot first and then import it to iMoive 08. I used Quick Time Pro to convert each movie.

I was informed today, Nov 8th, that my 2007 Naked Pumpkin Run Video has been pulled from YouTube. I logged onto my account and sure enough I saw the words “Rejected (content inappropriate)” next to it!
YouTube you suck, no really, It’s OK to publish wanton acts of Violence, rip long scenes from bootlegged DVDs and issue a message to the world before you go and shoot your mates in the school yard but nudity, well have none of that!

Sit back, relax and enjoy the jolly trumpeting of a Nebraska beauty pageant entrant as she blow her trumpet to the very appropriate accompaniment of “Star Wars”. Note that it’s not just a trumpet but an intergalactic light saber phallic thingy too! In tribute to Al Gores recent victory we also get to see her walk like a Penguin. This is my new fave video for absolute silliness.
Was on my way to the Polaris Husky Rescue when I came across a bike parade on Main St. The 2007 “Tour de Fat” is an annual bike parade through the streets of down town Ft. Collins Colorado.
