We all know how useful Google is in finding stuff but most of us don't know that there is much more to Google than meets the eye. To harness the full power of Google you need to speak a special language, special commands you type in the Google search box to expand it's functionality. I'm going to show you one such string of commands that will command Google to go forth and search the Interwebs for MP3's, yes free music! I'll start off by giving you the entire string of commands to instruct google to search for MP3 files.

Phones are easy to use and we all know that a phone number is composed of an area code and seven digits. Now if you've ever called overseas you'll realize that the whole numbering systems falls apart. You're completely lost as what numbers to add and what numbers of the original phone number not to dial. Here is my experience in trying to get my mom who lives in sunny South Africa to dial my cell phone in the US.

So I've always fancied the DJ life style, in the dj booth, jumping up and down to the beats, vinyl in hand, while the crowd below rages on through the night. Ok, it did turn out exactly like that: replace the DJ booth with a rickedy old table that I should of thrown out a long time ago, vinyl with mp3s and the raging with more of an ebb and flow!

If you know me then you'll have heard my rant about always backing up your data. Here is a story of how one poor woman lost the thesis that she had been working on for almost 7 years! Seems that she kept her only copy on a tiny zip drive in here purse and when her purse was stolen she really was up shits creek. With a little detective work she remarkably managed to find it in the end. Here is the story and perhaps it will make you go out and buy a pack of CD-Rs or blank Dvds and make a few backups! (Perhaps I should also write up a mini tutorial on how to make backups ???)

I've been using this card for a year or two now and it's a good way to get the most out of your cellphone minutes if you want to call outside the USA or make a call on a payphone at an airport.
