Suggested Itineraries for Day Trips to Boulder, Colorado

Here is my list of what to do while in Boulder Colorado for a day. Most of the activities I’ve listed are within walking distance of the Pearl St. Mall

Morning

Start the morning off on a good note by taking a little stroll down the Boulder Bike pate. A good place to join the bike path is at the Boulder Public Library at Canyon Blvd. Food: Breakfast, yum. Get your hungry self on over to Q\’s located inside the historic Hotel Boulderado. For those on a budget check out Dots diner @ 1333 Broadway (on the Hill) and 2716 28th street. After breakfast head on over to the Peal St. Mall.

Lunchtime/Afternoon


Food: Why not lunch at the only authentic Persian Tea House in the Western Hemisphere – The Dushambe Tea House @ 1770 13th Street,. If you have a car motor on up Boulder Canyon for 16 miles or so and take in the afternoon air in the little town of Nederland, CO. If you opt to stay in town sit outside at one of the many cafes and do a spot of people watching. (Try the outdoor patio of the Bookend Cafe @ 1107 Pearl Street, part of the Boulder Book Store free wifi too.) <<<< (closed in 2012)

Night

Food:Time for Dinner, try The Kitchen @ 1039 Pearl St for higher end dining. On a budget? Grab a slice or three of pizza at Nick-N-Willy’s World Famous Pizza by the slice located on West Pearl st and save your lolly for drinks later on. Other top picks are The Med and Trilogy Wine bar where you can get a bottomless glass of wine with the purchase of an appetizer till 5pm.
Check out live music at The Fox Theatre. Grab some more coffee and read a book at The Trident Books Seller, open till 11pm. Bars are fun and Pearl St. is full of them. To watch a move you’ll have to head down to the new 29th St. Mall.
