You upload a pic of your choice, run their little Java program on it and choose what you want the poor bastard to look like when the programs has had it's way with the photo. In my case I choose 50% ape! Come on GW, stop monkeying around!

I remember how a friend once asked me if the funny multi colored sticker I had on the back of my car was the Amtrak logo. Before I comment on their transgression let's take a look at the two items in question.

Phones are easy to use and we all know that a phone number is composed of an area code and seven digits. Now if you've ever called overseas you'll realize that the whole numbering systems falls apart. You're completely lost as what numbers to add and what numbers of the original phone number not to dial.

After turning an old 2001 power mac G4 (500Mhz) into a media center computer I was frustrated with the inability of Quicktime to go into full screen mode. I have the Pro Versions on my other Mac's (after spending $1200 on final cut studio I bloody well better!) but this machine had the humble free version of Quicktime only. After poking around on the internet I came upon an old apple script hack that allows Quicktime to play in full screen mode without needing the Pro (paid) upgraded version. So without further ado here is the hack.

Came across this little 5 minute video while surfing YouTube. So what the hell is Circuit Bending anyway. The official def is as follows: Circuit bending is the creative short-circuiting of electronic devices such as guitar effects, children's toys and synthesizers to create new muscial instruments and sound generators. It's a form of experimental electronic music.

Morning

Start the morning off on a good note by taking a little stroll down the Boulder Bike pate. A good place to join the bike path is at the Boulder Public Library at Canyon Blvd. Food: Breakfast, yum. Get your hungry self on over to Q\'s located inside the historic Hotel Boulderado. For those on a budget check out Dots diner @ 1333 Broadway (on the Hill) and 2716 28th street. After breakfast head on over to the Peal St. Mall.

[inline:newmoonbakery4.jpg]With the demise of the popular coffee shop known as Acoustic Coffee and the lack of internet at the little coffee shop that's located in a rail road car, Nederland appeared to be up the proverbial smelly creek when it came to sipping the brown stuff and surfing the Internet. Well I'm glad to report all is not lost. The space that used to house Katmandu several years ago is now home to a coffee shop and bakery (The New Moon Bakery) that boasts among other things a speedy WIFI internet connection.

A mate of mine recently forwarded an email claiming that a directory of cell phone numbers will soon be published and presumably made available to anyone, including telemarketers. All recipients were encouraged to call 888-382-1222 and have their number added to the do no call list.
